Recognizing the urgency to complete the Spirit of St. Louis within a tight timeframe, Hall successfully convinced Mahoney, the sole owner of the Ryan Aircraft company to drastically accelerate the production schedule from 90 days to an astonishing 60 days. This bold decision showcased Hall’s visionary mindset and his unwavering commitment to excellence. When Lindbergh returned from Europe, his friend was waiting to introduce him to his parents in Brooklyn before the ticker tape parade which he participated in.
