Vintage Automobile Navigating Rocky Canyon Gorge (1927) · Donald A. Hall Estate Collection

Documenting early automotive exploration through rugged California terrain, Donald A. Hall Sr. photographed a vintage motorcar navigating a dirt road carved through a rocky canyon gorge in 1927. The towering rock faces and dry wash illustrate the adventurous backcountry motoring of the era.
