Spirit100 · The centennial flight plan

Keep the story moving and the pathway open.

Spirit100 builds its runway in 2026, then follows the centennial story from San Diego through St. Louis and New York to Paris—connecting the next generation with aviation and STEAM opportunity at every stop.

The main flight plan

April. May. June. Four anchors in one unfinished story.

San Diego carries the engineering and construction story—and a planned Roots2Wings student showcase. St. Louis carries the centennial departure, the city behind the aircraft’s name, and the people who made the attempt possible. New York and Long Island carry the arrival route through museums, primary sources, media, civic partners, and historic activations. Paris carries the destination that turned a technical achievement into world history—and a global aviation industry still looking for its next generation.

The centennial is the public runway. The destination is a durable pathway from curiosity to skill, mentorship, credentials, and work.

Readiness before rhetoric

The route is ambitious. The labels stay honest.

The dates above combine official host-event dates with Flying Over Time working dates and windows. A public Spirit100 program is planned, not promised, until its host, venue, funding, rights, safety, staffing, travel, and communications gates are documented.

That discipline does not make the plan smaller. It is how a big plan becomes real.
