Sierra Club Mailing Wrapper to Donald A. Hall at Lindbergh Field (Circa 1933)

Preserved in the Donald A. Hall Estate Collection, this original Sierra Club mailing wrapper was sent from the Los Angeles headquarters to Donald A. Hall Sr. The printed postal address explicitly documents his official professional standing and location during the 1930s: "DONALD A. HALL, AIRPLANE ENGINEER, LINDBERGH FIELD, SAN DIEGO, CALIF." Featuring an advertisement for Arch-Aid long-range hiking shoes, the artifact links Hall's post-Ryan aerospace activities at Lindbergh Field with his active outdoor recreation in the Sierra Club.
