Hall X-1 Unfinished Wing Framework and Internal Rib Assembly (Plate #5763) (Circa 1928)

An archival technical construction photograph (negative plate #5763) documenting the uncovered wooden wing framework of Donald A. Hall Sr.'s X-1 monoplane under fabrication. Resting horizontally on wooden workbenches, the assembly reveals the built-up spruce truss ribs, spanwise spar caps, internal diagonal drag and anti-drag wire cross-bracing, and the curved plywood leading-edge skin partially attached to the nose ribs. This view preserves Hall's internal structural engineering and woodworking joinery for his post-NYP advanced civil monoplane.
