# A closer look at the records behind the flight.

A growing digital reference collection of the Donald A. Hall records. Make a one-time Stripe donation of at least $27 for one year of private early access.

---

## A collection that grows with the research

Hall Pre brings digitized archival material into a connected reference space. Photographs, documents and engineering records provide starting points for questions about Donald A. Hall, the Spirit of St. Louis and the people around that work.

Scanning, indexing and research continue. Descriptions and connections may change as records are reviewed. Early access lets interested researchers, educators and supporters begin a conversation with the team while this work develops.

---

## What you can explore

### Look closely

Examine digitized photographs and records, with context and source information as it becomes available.

### Follow connections

Explore the relationships between people, places and archival evidence.

### Help improve the record

Bring a focused research question, identify a possible connection, or share a correction with the team.

## How early access works

Make a **one-time donation of $27 or more through Stripe** below. After Stripe confirms payment, open the Premium Digital Exhibit from the confirmation page. Your private access lasts **one year from payment**.

Paid access is verified on the server. If you have a promo code, enter it below and select **Apply code** to open Hall Pre without a donation. Both paid and promo access last **one year** and support **up to three browsers/devices per link**. Opening a return URL or sending an inquiry cannot grant access. Your private link opens in up to three browsers/devices and stays valid until its expiry unless revoked. Keep it private; contact us if you need help moving to another device.

Access lets you explore the reference collection. It does not include permission to republish images or other material. [See image-use and licensing information](/media/the-estate/rights).

## Get early access to the Premium Digital Exhibit

One-time Stripe donation of at least $27 for one year of access on up to three browsers/devices after verified payment. A valid volunteer promo code bypasses donation; add #volunteer to prefill it and apply the code to receive a one-year, three-device link. Open the exhibit from the payment confirmation page. Access does not include image-reuse permission.

---

## Need help with your access?

If you need help opening the exhibit, send an inquiry. If you donated, use your Stripe payment email. This form does not charge you or grant access.

## Before you begin

### How do I receive access?

Donate at least $27 through Stripe, then use Open the Premium Digital Exhibit on the payment confirmation page. The server checks the payment before opening your private link. Contact us if you lose the confirmation page.

### Can I use a promo code?

Yes. Enter your code in the promo-code field and select Apply code. An accepted code bypasses the donation process and opens your access link. Promo access lasts one year and supports up to three browsers/devices per link.

### How long does early access last?

One year from verified payment or promo-code redemption. Each link supports up to three browsers/devices. Returning in the same browser reuses its session; clearing cookies or using a private window counts as a new browser. Expired or revoked links do not allow access.

### Is the exhibit finished?

It is a growing project. Digitization, indexing and research continue; records and descriptions may change as they are reviewed.

### Can I publish the images?

Access and image-reuse permission are separate. Contact the team about intended use, rights and required credits.
